2023 Polar Plunge – Santa Cruz
The Polar Plunge is one of SONC's signature fundraising events, and has become an annual tradition for locals and tourists alike. Come join the fun as costumed participants splash into the chilly waters of the Monterey Bay to prove that a little cold water can't stop wacky exuberance in an effort to raise funds for Special Olympics Northern California. Volunteers make this event special, as they help with set-up, registration, and customer service, starting at 8:30 AM.
Volunteers are encouraged to dress in fun costumes and to wear comfortable footwear. Food will be provided for all volunteers. Plunge highlight video: 2023 Polar Plunge Jump In!
