Your support at the Polar Plunge funds year-round programs for more than 17,000 athletes and helps us create an inclusive community where people with and without disabilities can make connections, develop healthy lifestyles, achieve success, and experience the joy of sports.

COOL SCHOOL CHALLENGE
Be a part of the COOLEST fundraising event! The Cool School Challenge brings together members of your school’s community to rally in support of Special Olympics NorCal. Take advantage of lower prices AND have the opportunity to earn funds back for your school! Cool School Plungers can participate at a listed NorCal event or host their own at the school, etc.

2023 Polar Plunge Recap
Thank you to everyone who Plunged, donated and supported the 2023 Polar Plunge! We hosted 11 Plunge events and raised more than $383,000!
All funds raised from the Polar Plunge support Special Olympics’ life-changing programs in sports, health, education and athlete leadership. Through the power of play, Special Olympics works to empower children and adults with intellectual disabilities and spark joy throughout our communities. All of our programs are provided free of charge to athletes and families thanks to your support!
