Volunteers from Northern California Receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award

Nearly a dozen volunteers from Special Olympics Northern California have been recognized with the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).
The PVSA is the premier national volunteer service award and recognizes dedicated individuals who commit their time and energy to helping others and giving back to the community. Recipients are honored in gold, silver and bronze levels, based on accumulated service hours during a 12-month period.

Along with the ultimate honor of presidential recognition, recipients will receive a personalized certificate; an official pin, medallion or coin; and a congratulatory letter from the president of the United States.
