United Way Director and Special Olympics volunteer, Lori Ross, was recently honored with a Community Champion award presented by Assemblyman Bill Dodd. Lori was recognized for her passion and dedication helping children, disabled people, and for working to improve the community.
A resident of Yolo county, Lori is the proud parent of Special Olympics athlete Derek Ross who participates in softball, basketball and track & field for Team Woodland.
