SUMMARY:2026 Polar Plunge- Greater Sacramento Area Runs & Polar Plunge
DESCRIPTION:The Polar Plunge is one of SONorCal’s signature fundraising events\, and has become an annual tradition for locals and tourists alike. Come join the fun as costumed participants splash into the chilly waters of Granite Bay to prove that a little cold water can’t stop wacky exuberance in an effort to raise funds for Special Olympics Northern California. Volunteers make this event special\, as they help with set-up\, registration\, and customer service\, starting at 7:00 AM. \n\n\n\n\nVolunteers are encouraged to dress in fun costumes and to wear comfortable footwear. The Theme is Wild\, Wild West\n\n\n\nFood will be provided for all volunteers.\n\n\n\nVolunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered as a volunteer. SUMMARY:Bocce for Butte
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our fourth annual Bocce for Butte fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Northern California programs in Butte County. \n\n\n\nFour-person teams will enjoy a little friendly competition with awards presented to the winning teams.  You don’t need to be bocce pros to join us.  All skill levels are welcome.  We’ll have Special Olympics athletes on hand to give you bocce tips and cheer you on.  A delicious lunch will be provided for all players to enjoy. \n\n\n\nRegistration is $200 per team and each team will play 3 games.  There are only 16 team slots available so register sooner than later to guarantee your spot. \n\n\n\nRegistration Check-in – 9:30 amGame time -10:00 am \n\n\n\nVolunteer opportunities available.
