Polar Plunge Cool Schools Challenge

Turn school spirit into something meaningful with the Polar Plunge Cool Schools Challenge – a chilling fundraiser that’ll benefit both your campus and Special Olympics NorCal Athletes.

How It Works

What:

Dress in costume, raise funds, and get chilly (and drenched)! Host your own Polar Plunge on campus or join an official Plunge event. No pool? No problem. Use sprinklers, water balloons, or any creative way to make a splash.

Where:

On your school campus, at an official Polar Plunge event, or…anywhere else in Northern California.

Who:

Open to students, teachers, staff, administrators, and families.

When:

Host your Polar Plunge on the date that works best for your school.

Why:

Build school spirit, strengthen your campus community, and support thousands of Special Olympics NorCal Athletes – all while raising money for your own school.

• Earn Rewards :
  • Raise $50 and receive an “I Made a Splash for Special Olympics” wristband.
  • Raise $125 and also earn a long-sleeve Polar Plunge T-shirt and lunch.
  • Schools that raise $1,500 or more receive 30% of the funds raised back to support their campus.
