Special Olympics NorCal’s 2026 Summer Games brought together swimming, track & field, bocce, and tennis athletes from all corners of Northern California to showcase the inclusive power of sport. Our flagship event, Summer Games is an event where talent shines, and athletes build confidence and friendships that last far beyond the finish line.
Along with competing on the field, the courts, and in the pool, athletes had the opportunity to participate in free health screenings, join nightly dance parties, and hang with friends, family, and fans.
From the festive Parade of Athletes to the ceremonial awarding of medals after sports events, Summer Games was a celebration of all abilities and a truly memorable event.
