
2026 USA Games
The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, held from June 20–26, 2026 in Minnesota united 3,000 elite athletes, 1,500 dedicated coaches, 10,000 passionate volunteers, and 75,000 roaring fans from across the nation for a world-class display of athleticism and determination.
But this wasn’t just an event. USA Games was a triumph of the human spirit. A stage where courage reigned, unity shined, and greatness knew no limits. USA Games were a phenomenon that captivated the country and left a legacy of inspiration.

In advance of each USA Games, Special Olympics NorCal athletes, Unified Partners and coaches were selected to comprise the Special Olympics NorCal delegation. For the 2026 USA Games, NorCal sent 9 teams (including 2 Unified Teams), 67 athletes, and 22 coaches who collectively represented 40+ counties throughout Northern California.
Together with fans from around the country, the event celebrated the ability of more than 3,000 incredible athletes from all 50 states who competed in approximately 16 Olympic-type team and individual sports. USA Games brought an unrivaled opportunity for sparking new energy around the Special Olympics movement and creating a lasting legacy of positive change.
