The 2025 Fall Games featured more than 250 athletes competing in soccer at UC Davis on Saturday, Nov. 8. It was a fun day of friendly competition on Russell Field, with players from across Northern California providing great effort on the fields and enjoying camaraderie all day long.  

In addition to the soccer matches with their teams, individual players participated in skills competitions and tried their hands at pickleball, an increasingly popular sport. 

Athletes also enjoyed the awards ceremonies, participated in a Youth Soccer Clinic, and took lots of photos with Brrizzly the Polar Bear, our Special Olympics NorCal mascot. 

Alongside Fall Games, teams participated in fun games and activities during Guardian Games, a fundraiser event with proceeds going to Special Olympics Northern California programs and activities.  

Thanks to all the athletes, family members, coaches, referees, sponsors, volunteers, law enforcement personnel and many others who came together to make Fall Games 2025 a big success!
