2026 High Tech Challenge
The Olympic Club, San Francisco
The High Tech Challenge, held on September 14, 2026, was Special Olympics Northern California’s premier golf tournament and largest single-day fundraiser. Over six years, the event has brought together more than 1,200 business and community leaders and raised nearly $3 million to support life-changing programs.
This fall, we returned to the prestigious Olympic Club in San Francisco with an exclusive, intimate twist. Every High Tech Challenge golfer played on the world-renowned Lake Course, an historic, iconic course that will welcome the PGA Championship in 2028.
The Lake Course has hosted multiple major golf championships for over a century, and participants had the opportunity to play this iconic course for a cause worthy of its historic grounds.
Participation directly funded free, year-round programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, empowering them through sports, leadership, health, and schools.
The day went well beyond the fairways. Along with their round, participants joined fellow golfers for a private networking lunch featuring remarks from our keynote speaker and a Special Olympics Athlete Ambassador. On-course activations and unified contests brought the Special Olympics spirit to life, reminding everyone exactly who we were playing for.
One iconic course. One exclusive, elevated experience.

The Olympic Club has hosted multiple National Championships, numerous prestigious competitions and U.S. Open Championships.
