Sacramento Republic Unified Team Clinic and Tryout

We are excited for the third year of our Unified Soccer Team with the Sacramento Republic FC and Special Olympics! To kick off the season, we are hosting a clinic and tryout for Special Olympics Athletes and the IDD Community. Please register if you are an Athlete, Coach, or Unified Partner.

Coaches should register if they are interested in being a coach for the Unified Team.

Unified Partners are invited to attend both the clinic and tryout.

WHERE: Consumnes River College, the football stadium field, 8401 Center Pkwy, Sacramento, CA 95823

WHEN: February 22, 2026, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

WHO: All Special Olympics Athletes and Unified Partners (clinic is all ages, tryout is ages 16-38)

WHY: To encourage movement and inclusion through the power of sport!

Once the team is selected, practice dates and locations will be announced. Please know that this is a multi-month commitment, starting in March and ending in October. Practices will be weekly apart from holidays.

If selected for the team, all athletes must have an approved Athlete Application prior to the first practice.

Registration will close on February 18th.
