Special Olympics Northern California Spring Games highlights the skills and spirit of Special Olympics Northern California athletes from multiple surrounding counties. The Spring Games brings together hundreds of athletes, coaches, families and volunteers for a full day of competition. Athletes train for up to eight weeks to compete in Spring Games, which serves as a qualifier for the annual Summer Games – Special Olympics NorCal’s pinnacle competition. Spring Games athletes compete in either swimming, tennis or track & field and are cheered on by members of the community.
Spring Games is a fun, engaging public-facing competition that showcases the joy and passion of Special Olympics NorCal. It is one of hundreds of events that we host throughout the year alongside innovative schools programs, health & wellness programming, and leadership training. Together, we are sparking joy in our communities through the power of sports!
