

Coaches’ Responsibilities
- Provide for the general welfare, safety, health and well-being of each athlete in their charge.
- Have copies of athlete applications on hand at all times.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all information in this Info Guide.
- Dress and act at all times in a manner which will be a credit to Special Olympics Northern California and the delegation.
- Report all emergencies to the proper authorities after taking immediate action to ensure health and safety of participants.

- Santa Clara University – Dunne – Room 128
- Santa Clara University – Finn – Room 243
- Santa Clara University – Graham – Room 444
- Santa Clara University – McLaughlin-Walsh – Room 103
- Santa Clara University – SanFilippo – Room 116
- Attend all meetings as scheduled.
- Refrain from possession, consumption and use of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs at all times.
- Follow the intent and spirit of established duties, rules, and responsibilities established by Special Olympics Northern California and Special Olympics, Incorporated.
- Provide the following specific services to the athletes:
- Supervision 24 hours a day
- Ensure that credentials are worn at all times
- Account for luggage & personal items
- Get to meals on time
- Report to competition areas on time
- Ensure that prescribed medications are taken on time
- Keep track of awards & souvenirs
- Abide by the Coaches’ Code of Conduct.
