The Special Olympics Northern California Summer Games is our annual celebration of competition and community. Held at Santa Clara University, the Games feature athletes contending for medals in bocce, swimming, tennis and track & field, making memories and building friendships along the way.

Sports are at the heart of Summer Games. Besides the competitions, attendees can try out new demonstration sports at the Sports Expo, including pickleball, cornhole and yoga. Summer Games and the Sports Expo are both free events, open to the general public. 

The Games highlight the achievements of Special Olympics NorCal athletes with intellectual disabilities, and bring the community together through the unifying power of sports.
